South Korea faced Google and Apple.
Euronews:
South Korea fined Google and Apple 63.7 billion won, equivalent to 42.7 million euros.
South Korea's Communications and Communications Commission announced that these two companies, by exploiting their dominance over app stores, forced developers to use their payment systems and delayed the review process of some apps.
According to this decision, Google is sentenced to pay 42.9 billion won and Apple to pay 20.8 billion won fine.
The investigation into this case began in August 1401 and showed that both companies charged a 26% fee for these methods despite the apparent authorization to use alternative payment methods.
Google and Apple have a month to present their corrective plans and must implement the changes within 3 months.
