Iran emphasizes the inalienable right of the NPT member states to explore, develop and use nuclear energy in peaceful ways, in accordance with their obligations in the treaty.
According to its constitution, the IAEA must be an independent, technical and development-oriented institution and play a role in expanding the peaceful use of nuclear energy and technical cooperation between member states, without discrimination.
