Congratulatory message from the Speaker of the Parliament following the World Wrestling Championship.
The championship of Iran's national wrestling team in the World Championship proved once again the ability of the youth in this country to stand at the top of the world, the youth who showed with courage in the field, with zeal for competition and commitment to the country, that it is possible to raise the Iranian flag above the biggest sports fields in the world by relying on Iranian will and talent.
Trust in the youth and belief in their abilities is a valuable legacy in the way of the Islamic revolution, a way that Imam Khomeini (may God bless him and grant him peace) followed by the participation of the younger generation in the defense of the eight-year-old Jerusalem and the slain leader of the revolution, the Grand Ayatollah Ayatollah Seyed Khamen Ali Hussein peace be upon him, emphasis on the abilities of loyal, expert and revolutionary youth. This shining path will continue under the learned guidance of the supreme leader of the Islamic revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Jotavi Husseini Khamenei (may God bless him and grant him peace), and today's wrestling championship is a clear proof of this fact. While I congratulate this precious honor to the champions, the technical staff, the managers and the great wrestling family and the noble and proud nation of Iran, I appreciate the efforts of the wrestling federation in educating this gay generation and I hope that these championships will be the beginning of a successful model for the management of Iranian sports and the proud youth of this country.
