Explosion and fire in a residential building on Eyat Street due to a gas leak.

A spokesman for the Tehran Fire Department:

At 12:10 today, an explosion led to a fire in a four-story residential building on Eyat St., after the intersection of Feder Thani St.

The fourth floor of the building suffered an explosion and some of the surrounding walls were destroyed, and three vehicles were damaged at the bottom of the building.

The building was empty and fortunately there were no casualties or injuries.

🔹 According to investigations, the possibility of a gas leak from one of the gas burning devices caused the explosion due to carelessness and a spark.
