in the midst of interceptions; France restricts access to social networks.
The Prime Minister of France, Sebastien Le Cournot, asked the four major media operators in this country to be prepared for a temporary suspension of people's access to social networks. This action was introduced after the interceptions on October 17 and 18 and the unrest that followed.
The French authorities claim that during these interceptions cyberspace platforms were used to coordinate violent actions, exchange information about targets and inform about the movements of the security forces.
