The Meteorological Organization has issued an orange warning for northwest Azerbaijan, east Azerbaijan and Ardabil, with a forecast of heavy showers and thunderstorms today.

For the shores of the Caspian Sea and heights and slopes of Alborez, torrential rain, lightning and strong temporary winds are expected.

The southern half of Kerman is also on orange alert.

🔹 The meteorological organization advised their countrymen to stay away from the beds and borders of rivers and canals in the warning areas.

🔹 In the north and east of Hormozgan, East Fars and South Sistan and Balochistan, especially in the afternoon, the growth of convective clouds will cause showers and thunderstorms and strong temporary winds.

The Persian Gulf, west of the Strait of Hormuz and the Caspian Sea, are also stormy today.
