Iraq's Foreign Minister's announcement regarding the meeting with Iraq

Fawad Hossein: On the sidelines of the 52nd meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Salami Cooperation Organization in Baghdad, I met Mr. Abbas Iraqi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and we talked about bilateral relations, the latest regional developments and the ways to achieve peace.

🔹 I emphasized Iraq's firm position in supporting peaceful solutions to regional crises through dialogue and diplomatic tools.

🔹 We also discussed and exchanged opinions regarding ways to activate the role of the Salami Organization for Cooperation and strengthen its ability to face regional and international challenges, with the aim of consolidating cooperation and solidarity between the member states.

🔹 We also emphasized the importance of supporting joint efforts in order to ensure the security and stability of the region.
