Macron's response to today's protests

President of France: In our Republic, there is no place for violence.

Those who broke in, carried out ground attacks on districts and shops, and displaced our municipalities, will be brought to justice and punished.

We will all stand united against the rioters who only seek to overthrow our institutions and prevent those who voice their demands by peaceful means.
