Yemen: Maritime navigation is completely safe for all ships, with the exception of vessels connected to Saudi Arabia Yahya Al-Rai, Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament:
The claims made in the report of the UN Special Envoy regarding the existence of threats in the Red Sea and the Strait of Belmandav are completely baseless. Maritime navigation is completely safe and normal for all ships, with the exception of vessels associated with Saudi Arabia, which are targeted as part of the "blockade against blockade" equation. We accuse the United Nations and the Security Council of 12 years of aggression and a brutal siege against the Yemeni people and of turning their backs on their human and moral responsibility.
