The reaction of the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the contradictory positions of France on the issue of nuclear weapons

French President Emmanuel Macron said during the test of a ballistic missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead: "To be free, it must be scary; and to be scary, you have to be strong."

But the same Emmanuel Macron said about Iran, which has never sought nuclear weapons: "Iran should not have nuclear weapons; not today, not in five years, not in ten years; never."

The question is not why France has a nuclear deterrent; The question is why the logic that guarantees security and freedom for France suddenly becomes a "threat" regarding Iran, even in the discussion of the peaceful nuclear program under international supervision?

The bitter truth is: they don't want peace for everyone; They want the monopoly of being scary and the legitimacy of being scary. They themselves must remain strong and nuclear, and of course scary, and limit others - even countries that seek only peaceful nuclear energy - with a false image of a "nuclear threat".

A peace where nuclear powers see their weapons as a guarantee of liberation and security, but the same logic calls others a threat, not peace, which is a monopoly of power based on righteousness.

A system that does not see the enjoyment of security and peace as everyone's right, instead of being a peacekeeper, encourages the control of a certain group.
