The President in his congratulatory message for Police Week:

The sacrifice of the police in times of war and crisis deserves appreciation.

🔹 The government is considering supporting the army and law enforcement forces to carry out legal tasks, its duty and honor.

🔹 The experience of the difficult days of the 12 and 40 day wars is a clear expression of the responsibility and dedication of the police forces along with other military forces in the country.

They continued their multiple and simultaneous tasks of maintaining public order, ensuring the safety of the people, controlling traffic, dealing with social harm, protecting sensitive centers and providing assistance to the victims in a situation where the centers of the police forces were one of the main targets of the enemies and were constantly exposed to attacks.

Damage to police buildings and centers never stopped them from performing their duties.

The martyrdom of more than 500 policemen during two imposed and brutal wars is also a clear proof of the depth of this sacrifice.
