Anis al-Asbahi, spokesperson for the Yemeni Ministry of Health, stressed that Saudi attacks specifically target residential areas, hospitals, and medical centers. This situation occurred amid the ongoing siege on the country and the prevention of the entry of medicines and medical supplies.

Over recent years, as we have witnessed Saudi aggression and the siege on Yemen, the country's health infrastructure has been severely damaged, and Yemeni patients face numerous problems in receiving treatment, to the extent that 400,000 of them need to be transferred out of Yemen. Thousands of patients in Yemen suffer from chronic and dangerous illnesses.

The new crime in the ground attack near Al-Sabeen Hospital caused the destruction of its internal departments and medical equipment and caused panic among patients. Since the beginning of the Saudi aggression against Yemen, more than 542 medical centers and hospitals have been targeted.
