Zakani's order for the implementation of the "Zero Inflation" plan; the beginning of the plan to stabilize the prices of basic goods in Tehran

Today, the Mayor of Tehran issued an order to implement the price stabilization plan for basic goods; the plan includes 12 items in the first phase and the prices of these items are supposed to remain fixed for half a year.

🔹 This plan is implemented with the aim of supporting the livelihood of households in Tehran and stabilizing the price of some basic goods, and in the first phase it will include 12 commodity items; the number of these items will increase to 15 and then to 17 in subsequent stages.

Frozen meat, rice, oil, pasta, sugar, lentils, dates, soybeans, chickpeas, red beans, pinto beans, and corn cobs are among the products planned in this program.

According to this plan, the price of the included goods will remain fixed for half a year, and each household will have a specific purchase quota according to the household size; a purchase that can be made monthly or bimonthly. 🔹 For the implementation of this plan, 18 Shahrvand stores and 108 fruit and vegetable squares have been considered.
