The US ship Roosevelt is on its way to the region to replace another ship

The Hill newspaper reported that the US aircraft carrier Theodore Roosevelt left the San Diego base last Sunday and is on its way to the region.

The US Pacific Fleet spokesperson announced that the Roosevelt is carrying out a normal and routine mission within the responsibility of the Third Fleet.

This ship is supposed to replace the USS George Washington, currently stationed in Japan and sent to the region under the responsibility of US Central Command (CENTCOM) last month.
