Following the publication of Abbas Abdi's note in Etemad newspaper, the Tehran Prosecutor's Office announced a crime against the author and the newspaper due to the general nature of the offense. According to the verdict, Abbas Abdi was sentenced to one year in prison. The court also ordered the suspension of the newspaper's activities and publication for two months. Pending the defendants' appeal, no final decision has been issued yet.

🔹 Sadegh Zibakalam is banned for 3 months from conducting any media activities, including live and recorded interviews with domestic and foreign networks, and from publishing any comments and activism on personal and public pages regarding an interview with a news agency. Zibakalam was sentenced to one year in prison, and as a supplementary punishment, was banned from all domestic and foreign media activities for two years, which was upheld; Zibakalam's prison sentence was suspended for 3 years. The case for the execution of the sentence has been registered at the enforcement office. 🔹 Falahatpisheh was sentenced to one year in prison for publishing material in the virtual space, which was suspended for 5 years. Regarding another case, Falahatpisheh was sentenced to a fine upon the complaint of one of the institutions, which was upheld in the appellate court.

🔹 Hamid Rasaei, according to the verdict of the Special Court for the Clergy, was sentenced to prison upon the complaint of a private plaintiff; this sentence was closed after passing the stages of legal proceedings.
