Israel closes the West Bank crossings for a week

The Israeli authorities have announced a "total closure" of the occupied West Bank and the blocking of the entrance crossings to this area until October 3rd.

These measures include a tightening of the military restrictions at the inspection stations and checkpoints, as well as limiting the movement of Palestinians and their access to places in Jerusalem.

The official Palestinian news agency "Wafa" reported that these restrictions will continue until Saturday, October 3, and Israeli authorities have announced the Jewish holiday of Sukkot or the "Holiday of Shadows" as the reason for implementing these measures.
