Former French officer: Strait of Hormuz has become a dead end for Trump

A former French army officer and analyst of military issues, referring to America's inability to secure the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz against Iranian drones, said:

This waterway has become "Trump's impasse" and Iran uses the Strait of Hormuz as a powerful lever against Washington.

"It was drones, not mines, that prevented the use of the southern part of the Strait of Hormuz."

Despite having the most powerful military in the world, America faces powerlessness against drones.

Guillaume Ansel, who also responded to Trump's delusions of using a pseudonym for the Strait of Hormuz, using ironic commentary said:

"For him, this strait is not Trump's strait, but Trump's dead end."
