Gargash: The severity of Iran's attacks on the United Arab Emirates was unexpected

Referring to the severity of Iran's retaliatory attacks on American bases and hideouts in this country, the advisor to the President of the United Arab Emirates said in an interview with Foreign Affairs:

"When this conflict started, I think we expected Iran to attack us and the other Persian Gulf countries on the ground. But we really did not expect a ground attack on this scale and with this level of continuity and intensity."
