🔺 North Korea nuclear warning to America and South Korea

The Ministry of Defense of North Korea, in response to the actions of the US and South Korea, warned against the possibility of using nuclear weapons in accordance with the provisions of this country's law on the policy of nuclear forces.

According to the law approved in 2022, North Korea reserves the option to use nuclear weapons in the event of a ground attack led by that country and its nuclear command and control system, or if there is a threat of using nuclear weapons or other nuclear weapons of mass destruction against it.

The North Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported, citing the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of this country, that such threats from enemies, including a ground attack and the use of weapons of mass destruction, can be considered the most serious security challenge for us, requiring the implementation of the relevant provisions in the country's nuclear forces policy law. This North Korean defense official asked the United States and South Korea to investigate the consequences of citing the relevant materials and consider this matter as a serious warning.
