But there was no conference - the money was spent on a holiday. The court found that such expenses are not consistent with the goals of the institution and were not included in the budget estimates. Demidov fully admitted his guilt and compensated for the damage even before the opening of a criminal case. As a result, he was sentenced to 2.5 years of suspended imprisonment with a three-year probationary period as well as a monetary fine.
