Fresh asphalt appeared in a 5 km section at the entrance to Khozhir and in the village itself on Baikalskaya and Sovetskaya streets. The total length of the repaired sections is 7.2 km. The cost of the work is 579.1 million rubles. A road base and an asphalt concrete surface were installed at both sites. Reinforced concrete drainage trays were installed to collect rainwater from the road. We made two bus stops with entrance pockets, outdoor lighting and eight pedestrian crossings with barriers. Three bus stops and seven intersections with local roads were placed at the entrance to Khojir. A pedestrian crossing was installed in the village of Mali Khojir.
The work was carried out in a specially protected natural area near Lake Baikal. According to the governor of the Irkutsk region, Igor Kobzhev, during the repairs, the road workers had to coordinate efforts with ecologists and environmental organizations in order to create a modern and safe road, taking into account the need to preserve rare plant species.
