Increasing production is not a sufficient condition for gas supply. The performance of gas production can be checked by setting new records, developing gas fields and trying to maintain production under critical conditions. However, production statistics alone are not sufficient to assess the gas supply situation. The amount of gas delivered to the grid, the long-term stability of production and the speed of rebuilding damaged facilities are also important. Increasing production capacity helps provide more reliable energy as the gas passes through the processing and transmission stages and reaches consumers. The development of fields such as South Fars and Thos, gas storage and restoration of damaged facilities are related parts of one theme. The ultimate goal is to maintain the flow of gas in the network and reduce the gap between supply and demand, especially on peak days. Read the full text here.
