Araf: The enemy's sea blockade has become an opportunity to develop the country's border crossings and corridors. The first vice president emphasized that although the enemy's sea blockade is a threat, this threat provided a unique and new opportunity to develop border crossings and complete the country's transportation corridors, and said: Iran has the ability to become the transportation center of the region and a member of countries with no outlet to open waters. It was also reported at the meeting of the National Transport Headquarters that, despite the maritime blockade, imports into the country from the railway routes increased in the first six months of the year by several hundred percent, and approvals were received for the creation of a green customs route for medicines and medical equipment, for smarter truck traffic and for increasing the capacity of the border terminals.
