The opposition of part of the American public opinion to the concerns of the war and the elections in Israel raises doubts about the possibility of a new attack in Iran. Israel needs close coordination with America to begin and continue operations against Iran. Europe's emphasis on readiness for nuclear negotiations with Iran shows the continuity of diplomacy. Iran's deterrence capacity, its military power and its geopolitical position in the Persian Gulf increase the costs of military action. Political pressure on Trump and the international opposition can prevent the escalation of tensions.
