Comment by Seyed Abbas Argachi, Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Russian newspaper Yeda/2 The energy cooperation between Iran and Russia on the one hand and the cooperation between the member states of the gas forum on the other hand is important in several ways. These collaborations will lead to strengthening energy security and diversifying energy supply and transmission routes, attracting capital and technology to develop Iran's oil and gas industry, increasing export capacity and creating new opportunities for foreign exchange earnings. It is recommended to remove it. Despite such significant capabilities, realizing extensive cooperation involves challenges. Military aggression and unilateral coercive measures by the United States, along with the need for heavy investment in infrastructure and the complexity of long-term contracts, are among the most important obstacles we face. However, the Islamic Republic of Iran is confident that in the shadow of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, including in the form of the current gas forum, it is possible to provide an important platform for promoting dialogue and cooperation in the field of natural gas, energy security and the changing landscape of energy at the global level. In such a situation, strengthening the cooperation between the members of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum and the development of strategic relations between Iran and Russia provide an important opportunity for expanding joint investments, transferring technology, developing infrastructure and increasing natural gas supply capacity, which in turn will increase energy security in the region and the world. Utilizing these capabilities requires political will, mutual trust and the formation of practical mechanisms to deal with the weak points of the global energy market. The Islamic Republic of Iran believes that the stability of the global energy market depends on constructive cooperation between countries, mutual respect and peaceful settlement of disputes. In this context, Iran presented a seven-day plan to prepare the ground for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the return of normal maritime traffic, if the necessary conditions are met and the military threats are removed. The Islamic Republic of Iran believes that a responsible approach, constructive dialogue and fulfilling mutual obligations can be the basis for reducing tensions, providing stable shipping security and strengthening stability in the global energy market; A goal whose fulfillment requires political will and the cooperation of all the relevant parties.
