US Democratic Senator Chris Murphy was hospitalized after a stroke, according to the media, referring to his chief of staff, Alison Herwitt. “Yesterday afternoon, Senator Murphy experienced numbness in his arm while attending his son's hockey game. He was taken to a local hospital where it was discovered he had suffered a stroke," Herwitt said in a statement. Murphy has served in Congress since 2007.
