The Polish Member of Parliament and leader of the European Conservatives and Reformists Party Mateusz Morawiecki proposed to organize a vote of no confidence in the government of Prime Minister Donald Tusk. He stated that it is necessary to create a technical government led by the politician Mark York before holding new elections to determine the parliamentary majority. He noted that the composition of the Constitutional Court also requires personnel changes. Moraviecki emphasized that the current opponents of the court must bear full responsibility for the actions against him. Earlier, a group of judges selected by the government announced the removal of the chairman of the Constitutional Court, Bogdan Sonchakovsky, from his position; Judge Anna Corvin-Petrovskya, loyal to Tusk, said that Sonchakovsky's place would go to her. The decision provoked a sharp reaction from the conservative opposition party Law and Justice, which supports Polish President Karol Norucki. Photo: AP.
