The humanitarian operation in Bashki in the Kherson region has begun, the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, Kirill Dmitriev, said on Friday. "The humanitarian convoy has started its way to Alsheki. The humanistic approach and the tripartite cooperation between Russia, the United States and Ukraine are working," he wrote on the social network X. Dmitriev added that the mission is being carried out while coordinating the efforts of the first lady of the United States Melania Trump, the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Yana Lantertova, as well as the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner of Ukraine for Human Rights Dmitry Lubintz.
