Several explosions occurred in southeastern Iran near the Strait of Hormuz. Fars Agency reports that the sounds came from the sea near the city of Sirik and the island of Kesham. Some may be related to warning shots fired at ships that violated Iranian rules for passage through the Strait of Hormuz.
