Sberbank does not plan to switch to quarterly dividend payments.
Regarding approaches to formulating a dividend policy for the years 2027-2029, Sberbank will try to stay within the expectations of investors, said Tars Skvartsov, the bank's vice chairman and financial director.
Sberbank will not change the frequency of dividend payments. "Among the management and members of the Supervisory Board, I did not see any supporters of quarterly payments, so we are not preparing any surprises in this part," said Skvartsov on the RBC broadcast.
He added that the credit institution cannot yet announce the specific parameters of the new dividend policy, since this issue has not yet been discussed at the meeting of the Supervisory Board (a meeting with such an agenda is scheduled for November 10).
