A skeleton of a rare dinosaur resembling a miniature Tyrannosaurus Rex sold at Sotheby's in New York for $47.3 million. The auction house said the item, nicknamed "Judy", became the second most expensive set of dinosaur bones ever sold at auction. The price was expected to be 6-9 million dollars. The buyer asked to remain anonymous. The skeleton of a Nanotyrannus, one of three known to science, is 2.9 m high and about 6 m long. It is considered to be almost 70% complete and was discovered in 2019 on a farm in Montana. Photo: AP.
