Belarus is ready to appeal to the CAS against the IIHF's decision not to allow its national teams to participate in the 2027 World Cup.
The Belarusian Hockey Federation expressed disagreement with the decision of the International Hockey Federation (IIHF) Council not to allow the country's youth and senior national teams to participate in the World Championships in 2027, and assured that they are ready to fight for their rights, including in the CAS. "The federation intends to protect the rights of Belarusian hockey and will soon determine specific legal measures, including the possibility of an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in accordance with the decisions of the IIHF bodies," they said.
