Moscow and Washington still have separate "spot" opportunities for cooperation in the economic field, Russia is open to them when it is necessary and useful, Alexander Gusrov, director of the North Atlantic Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, told Interfax. "We maintain a pragmatic openness to implementing joint commitments with the Americans - in cases where it is necessary and beneficial for us," he said in an interview with the agency.
