Patriarch Theophilos III of Jerusalem offered Russian President Vladimir Putin his assistance in Russian-Ukrainian negotiations. "I know there are proposals for negotiations regarding the ongoing situation along your western border," the patriarch said Thursday in a meeting with Putin in the Kremlin, offering his mediation in maintaining a "dialogue between brothers who share our common faith."
