Abkhazia will purchase additional electricity from the Russian Federation in case of winter shortages.
In the event of a winter energy shortage, Abkhazia will start purchasing electricity from Russia to replenish the missing volume, Energy Minister Batal Moshava said at a meeting in the republic's presidential administration. "The water level in the Jvar reservoir of Ingur HPP is 509 meters, which is almost 44 meters higher than last year.
