The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) countries are increasing the volume of transport along the Northern Sea Route amid the closure of other routes, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said. "The transport arteries through Russia are becoming the shortest, safest and most profitable corridor from Asia to Europe against the background of the closure of other routes.
