Russian aviation authorities want to simplify refunds for tickets when flights are canceled.
The aviation authorities in Russia are discussing simplifying the ticket refund procedure when regular flights are canceled - the introduction of one electronic procedure where money must be received within 10 days, the "Izvestia" newspaper reported. The Ministry of Transport asked the carriers and the Air Transport Operators Association (AEVT) for information on their position on simplifying refunds for tickets in the event of a scheduled flight cancellation.
