Former Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Envoy to the Federal District in the Far East (FEFD), and now Vladimir Putin's assistant in the administration of the Head of State Yuri Tertnev will oversee the issue of patriotism and patriotic education, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told Vedomosti newspaper. "There is an assumption that it will be," Peskov told the publication, answering a question about whether the issue of patriotism would be part of Trotnev's capacity as an assistant to the president.
