ADNOC agrees with OpenAI to implement artificial intelligence in all major oil and gas operations.
Abu Dhabi's national oil company, ADNOC, has signed a long-term agreement with OpenAI (developer of ChatGPT) and the Emirati technology group G42 to apply artificial intelligence (AI) in manufacturing, investment and commercial operations. ADNOC said it will be the first in the energy sector to implement the OpenAI Frontier platform to coordinate AI agents and connect decision-making processes across the entire value chain - from production and refining to logistics, sales and trade.
