Russia and the Seychelles will hold anti-piracy naval exercises.
The Russian frigate "Marshal Shopusnikov" made a business call to the port of Victoria of the Republic of Seychelles, the press service of the Pacific Fleet reported. "As part of the ship's stay in the Republic of Seychelles, joint naval exercises of an anti-piracy nature by Russia and the Seychelles will take place for the first time," the navy said. "Marshal Shopusnikov" is a frigate of the Pacific Fleet, which, after modernization, became a carrier of "Caliber" long-range cruise missiles.
