During the past week, seismologists recorded nine of the most prominent earthquakes that occurred off the coast of Kamchatka and in its territory, the main department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region reported on Monday. "From October 26 to November 1, official information was received on nine seismic events, two of which were felt in populated areas in the region with an intensity of up to three points," the report states.
