Mass demonstrations took place in Italy against the rising cost of living, increased military spending and the government of Prime Minister Giorgi Maloney, the Italian news agency ANSA reported on Friday. "On Friday, thousands of workers, university and school students, and in some cases their parents, participated in demonstrations in dozens of Italian cities, including Rome, Milan, Naples, Turin, Venice and Palermo," ANSA reports.
