Roscosmos Deputy Director General for Manned Programs, Sergey Kryklav, approved the idea of creating a joint module for African countries as part of the future Russian orbital station. "It seems to me that very interesting proposals have been made here: let's create a joint module on the station, let's create scientific equipment together," he said at the meeting "Space technologies to accelerate economic development and improve the standard of living of the African population" at the Russia-Africa forum.
