In January-September 2026, production growth in manufacturing industries amounted to 1%, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Mentorov said at a government hour at the Federation Council. "Against the background of the cooling economy this year, the dynamics slowed down, but remained positive: plus 1% in nine months, mainly due to industries involved in ensuring the security capacity of the country," he said. "While the areas dependent on investment demand are falling, at the same time there are signs of a recovery in civilian productions focused on consumer activity.
