The State Duma Committee proposed to clarify the VAT collection mechanism on foreign purchases in the markets. The State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes proposes, ahead of a second reading, to clarify in the draft law the circle of VAT taxpayers for the importation of e-commerce goods, the procedure for determining the tax base and the applicable rate, according to the committee's conclusion on the amendments made by the government to the tax law.
