Iran warns of the consequences for ships in Hormuz if security protocols are violated.
The Commander of the Central Command of the Iranian Army, Hatem al-Anbiya, Ali Abdulahi, warned that any vessel that improved Iran's security protocols in the southern waters would put itself at risk. "Any vessel that tries to deviate from the assigned route or ignore Iranian procedures for any reason will put itself at risk and face serious harm," Abdulahi was quoted as saying on Press TV.
