The Iranian Deputy Oil Minister for International Affairs and Trade, Seyed Ali Mohammad Mousavi, will visit Moscow on Sunday and chair a meeting of the high-level working group on preparations for the eighth summit of the countries participating in the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), according to materials distributed by the Iranian Embassy in Moscow ahead of the GECF summit. The representatives of the member states and relevant experts will meet on Sunday, October 25, 2026, to consider the draft summit declaration, exchange views on the development of the global gas market, consider proposals from the member states and prepare documents necessary for the ministerial meeting and the summit," the statement said.
