The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) navy said two tankers were hit by mines in the Strait of Hormuz on Friday, traveling on a route not agreed with Tehran. "The press service of the Revolutionary Guards navy reported that since the beginning of the day, two tankers trying to pass through the unauthorized southern route through the Strait of Hormuz encountered sea mines," reports IRNA.
