Putin and Witkoff emphasized that the diesel deal will help stabilize the fuel market.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Vitkoff noted in negotiations Wednesday in Moscow that agreements on diesel supply meet bilateral interests and will help stabilize the energy market, Russian Assistant President Yuri Ushkov told reporters. "The conversation referred to issues related to the implementation of agreements on the supply of Russian diesel fuel to the American and global markets, which were actually agreed upon by Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump in a phone call on October 9," Ushkov said.
