Shoigu announced the increase in Western attempts to undermine the situation in the regions.

The Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu at the retreat discussed the security threats associated with the West's attempts to use the institution of non-profit organizations for its own purposes to carry out activities against Russia. "In the context of a tense international situation caused by the decreasing influence of the proponents of globalization and the formation of a multipolar world order, unfriendly countries continue to conduct an aggressive anti-Russian policy, and their intelligence services consistently increase efforts to undermine the socio-political situation in the Russian regions," Shoigu said at the meeting on Wednesday. "The leaders of European countries have chosen the path of militarization, openly lobbying for the interests of related military-industrial companies, while cynically ignoring the opinions and needs of their citizens, many of whom openly say that the interests of our citizens come second.
